Dejan Živković, MA (1970) graduated in Accordion at the Academy Gnessinih in Moscow, in the class of prof. Yuri Aleksejevič Vostrelov. He has been the co-author of the textbook The Practicum for the second instrument-Accordion, in 1996, for the students of Department of Theory at Music College in Niš. During 1995 – 2003 he worked at Music College in Niš. He obtained his MA degree in Skoplje at the main subject – Accordion, in the class of Assisstant prof. Vojin Vasović in 2002. Since 2000, he has worked at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, currently as the Professional Instructor. He was the chairman of Department of Accordion and Guitar from 2004 – 2009. During his working period at Music College and the Faculty of Arts in Niš, he performed many a time at the Symphony Orchestra Hall in Niš, as well as in Aleksinac and Knjaževac. He has been a member of the international competitions, juries. References: the International competition in Stregga (Italy) -1st Prize; the Federal competition in Pula-1st Prize; the International competition in Castelfidard (Italy) -3rd place; the International competition in Camal (Italy) -2nd place. He is the co-author of the textbook The Practicum for the second instrument-Accordion. In 2004 – he had the performance with the Chamber Orchestra of the Faculty of Arts in Niš - at the Symphony Orchestra Hall in Niš; He was a jury member – at the Competition of Accordionists in Knjaževac, in 2006; A jury member – The Days of Accordion – Smederevo, in 2008 and he has also held the whole-evening concerts in Aleksinac and Knjaževac.
