Nemanja Stanković graduated in 2009 at Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade, in the class of prof. S.Belić as Student of the Year. He studied in the class of N.Gutman at Vienna Conservatory, where he acquired his MA degree in 2013 with the highest recognition. He attended his postgraduate studies at the University Mozarteum in Salzburg in the class of E.Bronzi, as well as in Florence (Scuola di Musica di Fiesole) in the class of N.Gutman and E.Wilson. In 2015 he defended his doctoral dissertation at Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade and became the youngest Serbian PhD in art. Since 2011, he has been a solo cellist of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and in 2016 he also performed as solo cellist of the chamber orchestra "Strings of St. George." He has had solo performances with Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, RTS Symphony Orchestra, "Camerata Serbica" orchestra, the Italian Youth Orchestra Ogi, Czech Virtuosi, Belgrade city orchestra Dušan Skovran, Chamber Orchestra of Bitolj, Faculty of Music Art Philharmonic Orchestra in Belgrade, Kristianstad symfoniker, Norbal. As a soloist, he has collaborated with conductors: R.Payare, F.Bolon, B.Sudjić, N.Zur, D.Shapovalov, Le Fi Fi, N.Paszkowski, B.Radovanović. He has performed in chamber ensembles with artists: Y.Revich, S.Belić, J.Vogler, N.Radulović, E.Hafner, T.Milošević, O.Popović, with Czech string quartet "Epoque", with "Movement" trio. He has performed as a member of "Balkan String Quartet", "ArtLink" piano trio, Belgrade Philharmonic string sextet. He played as a member of many prominent orchestras: IMOGEN (International Mahler Orchestra chamber ensemble), "Double Sens", Camerata Serbica, EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra), Skopje Musical Youth Orchestra, Orchestra of Kragujevac, YMISO (International young musicians Symphony Orchestra), Sinfonietta chamber orchestra, RTS Symphony Orchestra. He was awarded as numerous contests and competitions finalist, such as the International Competition cellist in Liezen (Austria, 2012 - I prize), Musical Youth International Competition (Belgrade, 2010 – audience I prize), Johannes Brahms (Austria, 2011 - finals), Fidelio special (Vienna, 2012), Antonio Janigro (Croatia, 2004 – III prize), Petar Konjović (2007 - I and special prize), Students International competition in Sarajevo (2008 - I and special prize), National competitions in Belgrade (2005, 2004, 2002, 2000 – I and special prizes). In 2007, he was named the most promising young Serbian artist by the Art Association ArtLink. This recognition earned him the first compact disc issuance with works by Paganini, Dvorak, Davydov, Haydn and Tchaikovsky. He has had outstanding performances at international festivals: BEMUS, Note di Primavera (Italy), Today,s young stars (Sweden), Belgrade Cello Fest, Classic fest, BUNT, Days of Music (Herceg Novi). His performance at Baroque workshop in Gmunden (Austria, 2006) was prominent and he was named the most successful performer of Baroque music. He participated in Concerts for Life and Peace held in Italy and Israel (2010), under the auspices of the Republic of Italy Ministry of Youth. He also played in Palice of Invalides (in the Cathedral of Louis IX, as well as in the Grand Salon) in Paris, in the Glass Hall Muzikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna and the Konzerthaus in Berlin. He attended master classes with renowned artists such as: R.Kirshbaum, M.Maisky, J.P.Maintz, D.Strange, D.Weiss, M.Leskovar, J.Vogler, M.Strauss, A.Baillie, I.Kucher, A.Gebert. He is playing currently the instrument of Carlos Roberts from Cremona (2012), thanks to the project "Trampoline" of art association "Amici da Fiesole". He has made lasting audio recordings for RTS, ORF, RAI. Since 2017, he works as Assisstant professor at Faculty of Arts in Niš teaching Cello.
