IGOR ALEKSIĆ

IGOR ALEKSIĆ, MA (1970), the Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, graduated and obtained his MA degree in Violin at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Aleksandar Pavlović. He also finished his postgraduate studies in Chamber music at the same faculty, in the class of prof. Uroš Pešić. From 1991 to 1997, he was a member of the Belgrade String Orchestra Dušan Skovran with which he performed on numerous tours throughout Europe: Greece, Hungary, the Great Britain, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Russia. In 1997, he went to the Dominican Republic where he worked in the National Symphony Orchestra of Santo Domingo, as well as with the string quartets Belotti and Del Orbe. Since 2003, he has been working as a Violin teacher at the Faculty of Arts in Niš. He is a founder and a member of the ensemble Constantinus, within which several chamber ensembles are working, as well as the orchestra Camerata Serbica from Belgrade, with which he has achieved notable performances in the country and abroad.
