NIKOLA PEKOVIĆ (1991) started his musical education in the class of prof. Marija Vukićević in Kraljevo. He finished his undergraduate and master academic studies of Accordion at the Faculty of Arts in Niš with the highest grades, in the class of prof. Miljan Bjeletić, MA. He was the first student of the Faculty of Arts in Niš who completed the third and the fourth year within the academic year 2012/2013. During last ten years, he has been active on the concert podium both as a soloist and a chamber musician in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Slovenia, China, Belgium and Russia. At the end of 2014, the Faculty of Arts in Niš published his first solo CD of classical music performed on the accordion. He was awarded with the Muniment of the University of Niš as the best student at the undergraduate studies in the academic year 2012/2013. Performing jointly with his sister Bojana, he won in the third series of competitions I have got a talent (in 2012), founding a completely new musical direction in the world’s music scene. He has become the cover face for the Italian accordion factory Bugari and the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia. At the invitation of the factory, he has held four solo concerts in China and presented their latest accordion model Omnia. He was awarded in 2010/2012/2014 by Erste Bank / the Superste Club in Belgrade. They invest in talented young people who are pushing the boundaries of success in different areas. He received a medal from the Supreme Ataman of the Russian Cossack Army in 2012. He has participated so far in 48 competitions in the country and abroad, winning the prestigious prizes: II place in the World Cup in Canada in 2013, II place at the World Trophy in Russia in 2013, II place at the International competition Accoholiday in Ukraine in 2011/2013, I place at the World Trophy in Spain in 2010, I place at the International Accordion Competition in Slovenia and Greece in 2010, I place at the International Competition for Accordion Star trek in Kragujevac in 2010.
