Bratislav Bašić, MA (1962) graduated in 1987 and obtained his MA degree in 1990 at Department of Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Vojislav Todorić. He is a member of ULUS (Association of Fine artists of Serbia) since 1989. During the period 1994-2003, he worked as a teacher of painting and drawing in secondary art school "Djordje Krstić" in Niš. Since 2003, he has been employed at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, at subjects Painting and Drawing, and in 2008 he was elected an Associate professor at the same subjects. During his work at the Faculty, twenty-six students graduated in his class. He has actively exhibited in solo exhibitions in the cities of the country (Belgrade, Leskovac, Niš, Priština, Pirot, Zaječar, Bor, Kruševac, Vranje, Kraljevo, Dimitrovgrad, Prokuplje, Aleksinac, Knjaževac, Čačak, Gornji Milanovac, Jagodina, Kosovska Mitrovica, Kragujevac, Smederevska Palanka), as well as in group exhibitions (Belgrade, Smederevo, Zaječar, Novi Pazar, Prokuplje, Niš, Kragujevac, Pirot, Leskovac, Novi Sad, Kikinda, Vrbas, Užice, Sremska Karlovci, Sombor, Priština, Niš, Pančevo, Gornji Milanovac, Kraljevo, Dimitrovgrad, Aleksinac). He has also exhibited abroad- in Zagreb, Rijeka (Croatia), Podgorica (Montenegro), Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria), Budapest (Hungary).
