SLADjANA BUKLIJAŠ, MA (1959) finished the Music Academy in Sarajevo at Department of Piano in 1986, and obtained her MA degree at the Faculty of Music Arts in Skoplje in 2011. She finished numerous seminars with the renowned pedagogues and pianists, such as: N. LJ. Starkman, A. Valdma, A. Timakin and K. Gekić, she is in title of the Associate Professor at the subject Piano Teaching Methods at the Faculty of Music Arts in Niš. In 2003, she got the award for multiyear pedagogical results. She was the jury member of national and international piano competitions in the category of pupils, students and duo piano (Torino in 2009, Zrenjanin in 2008, 2006, 2004; Arad, Rumunija in 2007, Trstenik in 2012, 2009, 2005, 2003, 2002, Belgrade in 2009, in Niš – a regular jury member until 2004). In 2008, at the European piano competition Citta di Moncalieri (Torino), she got the Teacher,s Prize (her students of the Faculty of Arts in Niš were the laureates in the category of duo piano), and in 2009 she was the jury member of that competition. She has performed in cooperation with Hristina Vuković in duo piano. She has held many seminars and piano masterclasses in the country and abroad. She published a handbook The Methodology of Piano, Niš in 2008, and under progress is a textbook of The Methodology of Piano with a working title The Stages of psycho–physiological preparations for a public performance of a musician – pianist.
