SLOBODAN G. JOVANOVIĆ

SLOBODAN G. JOVANOVIĆ (1949), graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Department of Film camera) and the Department of Arts at Teacher-training College in Belgrade, the Department of Graphics editor. He has been the member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDUS) since 1984. He began his professional work on TV Belgrade, where he realized, as a director of photography and a cameraman over 300 informative character news programs: TV News, Belgrade Chronicles, the live broadcasts of cultural and artistic spectacles and sporting events, over 60 educational and school programs, he was a director of photography in TV series EX LIBRIS of TV Belgrade. As a solo artist, he realized over 20 documentary and short films and TV commercials and 20 episodes of a TV serial The Records. From 1986, he was a chief editor and a director of photography of the TV program Experimental Television Niš- ETV NIŠ 86. He was a director of photography and a short-film director on painters, Nenad Opačić from Zagreb, and Miodrag Anđelković and Momcilo Miroslav Mitić from Niš. He was a director and a director of photography of TV film The Waste Land. From 2000 to 2001 he was an editor-in-chief, a director of photography and a director of the programs of The Open TV Niš. He has taught at: the Yugoslav Institute for Journalism in Belgrade, Niš Art School, the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, the Faculty of Arts in Priština, the branch of the Department of the Faculty of Applied Arts in Niš, The Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, the Faculty of Arts in Niš, the University of Kansas, the Faculty of Electronical engineering in Niš. From 1995 to 2012 he held 24 solo exhibitions, of which 13 photo exhibitions and 11 exhibitions of images.
