JADRANKA MIŠIĆ PEJOVIĆ

JADRANKA MIŠIĆ PEJOVIĆ, MA (1960), since 2009 she has been a  PhD student at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, at Department of Painting; She obtained her MA degree at the Faculty of Applied Arts of the University of Arts in Belgrade, at Department of Wall Painting, in the class of prof. Slobodan Djuričković; she graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Department of Painting; She has worked at the Faculty of Arts of the  University of Niš since 2005, currently in title of the Associate Professor at the subjects Fine arts technology and Painting technology. Exhibitions: 12 solo exhibitions in the cities in Serbia (Niš, Belgrade, Vranje, Kraljevo, Leskovac, Prokuplje, Dimitrovgrad, Zaječar, Smederevska Palanka, Pirot). Her mosaics and church paintings: in 2008/09- she painted the frescoes in the narthex and the paraclisis of the church of St. Panteleimon in Niš using secco technique; in 2007 she realized the mosaic The river God, 200x200 cm at the Wellness Center in Radon hotel, Niška Banja; in 2007- she did the portal mosaic icon of Ss. Petar and Pavle, 200x124cm, at Ss. Petar and Pavle church in the village Osipaonica near Požarevac; in 2006- she painted the icons on the imperial doors in the northern and southern gallery chapels in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Niš, in 2003- she reconstructed the tabernacle at the church of St. Petka church in the village of Ćurlina, near Nis; she has worked on cleaning the icons in the church of St. Petka, in the village of Ćurlina, near Niš, which had originally been parts of the old iconostasis at the church of St. Nikola in Niš. Publications: the Monograph "Mosaics of Niš" (forthcoming); This monograph has been included in the working plan and program of the Centre for Scientific Research of SASA and University of Niš, as well as in the program marking 1700th  anniversary of the proclamation of the Edict of Milan, at the University of Niš.
